After the loss of a loved one, you may feel shocked, numb, guilty, angry, afraid and full of pain. Over time, these feelings may change to longing, sadness, loneliness—even hopelessness and fear regarding the future.

Cruse Bereavement Care Isle of Man (Cruse IOM)* are the leading support services charity who help bereaved children, young people and adults. Offering confidential one-to one-support and are trained to the highest Cruse standards.

* These services are provided directly by Cruse Bereavement Care Isle of Man and are not provided by Zurich International Life. The service does not form part of an insurance contract.

Helping you deal with Bereavement in the workplace

Where a policyholder agrees to the service, Cruse IOM will offer Bereavement awareness training for the workplace. The half-day workshop (available for 2 members of staff per company) is aimed at HR Professionals and Line Managers and covers the following topics:

Bereavement and loss

Supporting bereaved employees

Dealing with the death of an employee

Communication and listening

Looking out for self and others

Furthermore, all Zurich customers based on the Isle of Man have access to a dedicated support services that offers one-to-one care following a bereavement – whether it’s for businesses, employees or family members. This service is provided by Cruse IOM.
